Why is Bangalore stuck in traffic jams?

Another joke proposal. As usual the law of unintended consequences will strike. The cost of second hand cars will go up. People will register cars outside the city and bring it in. Will every car bearing non Bangalore number be prevented from entering. These are silly knee jerk measures that really have no place in policy.

For more than 20 years I've lived in south-east Bangalore, in multiple localities from BSK 3rd Stage to Sarjapur Road. Traffic has been a terrible headache all around these areas, including famous hot spots like Silkboard, BTM, Whitefield and so on. However after moving out of these areas into central Bangalore, I find traffic *far* more manageable, so its a pleasant surprise.
