    Maadhyam presents Chalo Parliament

Calling for citizen submissions to be taken up in the 2019 Winter Session of Parliament.

The Winter Session of Parliament is scheduled to run from 18th November, 2019 to 13th December, 2019. We encourage you to submit your suggestions and feedback under the following 4 heads:

    • Parliamentary Questions
    • Issues raised in debates
    • Concerns on / amendments for Bills
    • Petitions / Letters to Standing Committees

    How does it work?#

All the suggestions and inputs received will be collated and will be shared with offices of various Members of Parliament, by Maadhyam, a Participatory Policy Making Initiative, which aims to bridge the gap between policy makers and various stakeholders. MPs are interested in certain issues and policy matters, and citizens inputs will be shared with the MP's office by matching the topic with the relevant MP.

Together we can make Parliament more responsive to citizen's concerns!

Parliamentary Questions - suggest a question that you want raised in Parliament in the Winter Session

MPs ask Questions to Ministers on wide range of policy as well as constituency specific matters; to seek information from the government and to understand policy proposals of the government. Example: A citizen via an MP may seek information on deaths due to road crashes and what the government is doing to reduce those.

Add your response to this open poll.
